《Love Will Tear Us Apart》这首歌我最早听到的版本是JOY DIVISION的那个版本。那是我感受到的是疏离压抑的感觉，再加上阴郁的配曲，“Then love, love will tear us apart again”听起来似乎是那么的绝望。

《Love Will Tear Us Apart》还是有他自己的故事的：这首歌创作于1979年乐队随Buzzcocks在英国巡演的过程中，在1980年四月份JOY DIVISION把这首歌作为单曲发行，4月份JOY DIVISION 主唱Ian Curtis经历了与妻子的婚姻破裂，5月18日在家自杀身亡。这首歌成为Ian的绝唱，取得了巨大的成功，被无数艺人翻唱过。

在众多翻唱中，我在这里推荐给大家的是个人比较喜欢的Nouvelle Vague（法语：新浪潮）乐队的版本。
