Arctic Monkeys（北极猴）是何许人？他们是正火速走红的英国摇滚乐队，他们第一张唱片正打破英国首张唱片销量的纪录。
前几天一口气淘了5张CD，其中也包括Arctic Monkeys的EP《when the sun goes down》。这张EP很简单，里面有三首曲子，我个人非常喜欢when the sun goes down这首歌曲。这首歌的歌词写的很好玩，Alex Turner在歌曲中这样叙述着，他认为优秀的女孩被一个混蛋泡上了，自己对那个混蛋咬牙切齿，但是那个姑娘还是执迷不悟，最后只能无能为力悻悻离去。挺好玩的。
Arctic Monkeys是一支很低调的乐队，主音歌手Alex Turner和鼓手Matthew Helders均21岁，在同一所学院读书。吉他手Jamie Cook和低音吉他手Andy Nicholson的背景不为人知。他们未因为成功打进主流乐坛而骄傲，他们并抗拒以音乐以外的东西取悦群众，因此他们不大喜欢接受采访，也不愿意透露太多个人资料。低调而又有才气的乐队，谁不喜欢呢？
