Lust For Life这首歌选自Iggy Pop在1977年发行的punk味很浓的专辑《Lust For Life》。70年代正是以Sex Pistol为代表的punk最为嚣张的时期。但是来自美国的Iggy Pop则比同时期的Sex Pistol等英国punk来的温和低调的多。Iggy Pop在这首歌里反思了现代人在由物质堆砌出的生活里所表现出的空虚乏味，在其衬托下，Mark在大街上疯狂的奔跑时说的那堆疯话，自然也就显得事出有因了。

《Trainspotting》电影很大的亮点就是其电影原声了，这部耗时仅45天的电影，奇迹般地把英伦音乐，punk的精髓融合了进来。刚看到这个影片的名字我不禁纳闷，为什么要取猜火车这个名字呢？后来才知道，影片的名字是双关语，本来就是双关。其一是猜火车是苏格兰青年无聊时打发时间的游戏，即在火车站猜下一列火车什么时候来、将开往哪里。透露出了青春的迷茫和无助。第二的意思是一句俚语，意思是寻找胳膊上的血管以注射毒品。

《猜火车》饱受争议，本片并不是在宣传吸毒，他只是在映射青春的困惑，生活的无助，未来的迷茫。我记得影片中这么一句“如果维生素C不合法，我们就吸维生素C”，其实只是为了背叛世俗社会。奉劝一句，别因为喜欢这类影片，喜欢摇滚而去接触毒品。
